The Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) has approved Section 34 amendments to the Maitland Valley Source Protection Plan.
The amended Maitland Valley Assessment Report and associated Source Protection Plan took effect on July 24, 2024 when they were published on the Environmental Registry of Ontario.
Previous updates, to the source protection plans and assessment reports for the Ausable Bayfield and Maitland Valley source protection areas, took effect on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 when they were posted on the Environmental Registry of Ontario.
