A Few Words About Jennette
Jennette Walker, of Zurich, is an environment sector representative. She has a keen interest in working with other committee members to implement practical, effective ways to protect local water resources. Jennette is a Senior Technical Specialist in Listowel with GM BluePlan Engineering Ltd. Her professional experience includes previous work at B. M. Ross and Associates Ltd., the Town of Goderich, and Municipality of Bluewater. Jennette has worked in both Maitland Valley and Ausable Bayfield communities. She is Vice Chair of the Huron Stewardship Council and a past member of the Huron County Water Protection Steering Committee and Maitland Conservation’s Water Action Team. She served on a municipal working group for local drinking water source protection and Ausable Bayfield’s Conservation Strategy community working group. She has worked on technical reports, water budgets, groundwater studies, and delineation of wellhead protection areas and intake protection zones. She also brings knowledge of water and wastewater systems and relevant regulations and legislation.
